In 5.4 the Proving Grounds were added to the game. If you don't keep up on patch notes(you need to start) this feature is a solo instance at the Temple of the White Tiger in Kunlai Summit where your gear is reduced to ilvl 463 and you test your ability to play the role you've selected. For someone proficient in their class getting Gold is a breeze, but for someone who is struggling it is somewhat challenging. While it's not(yet) required to be in a raid, I encourage everyone to go try to get Gold in Proving Grounds by next week and use the experience to judge what you need to work on.
